What is the role?

Evy is the infrastructure behind product protection for 20+ retailers and marketplaces across Europe: Back Market, Decathlon, SEB Group, Refurbed, and others. As we grow our insurance and warranty offering across new countries, we're strengthening our legal team.

We're looking for a Junior In-House Counsel to join the legal team, reporting to the Head of Legal. This is a permanent (CDI), full-time role based in Paris, at Evy's offices, for a candidate with 2 to 4 years of experience.

Your missions

Legal, a business partner

• Draft and negotiate contracts with distributors and vendors, alongside the Head of Legal
• Create and maintain customer-facing documentation (general terms / policy wordings, IPID) for B2C and B2B, across all distribution countries
• De-risk Evy's service offerings: repair / replacement, subscriptions, extended warranties
• Keep the contract database reliable: tracking, updates, maintenance
• Be the day-to-day legal go-to person for the teams

Product governance (POG)

• Support teams in designing and launching new offers, alongside the Head of Legal
• Draft pre-contractual documentation (IPID/KID, terms and conditions, legal notices)
• Validate subscription and sales journeys
• Support governance at every launch: traceability, POG / IDD compliance

Compliance & customer protection

• Support the handling of AML/CFT and fraud alerts in line with internal procedures (including KYC checks), and assist with escalating high-risk cases
• Provide legal support on sensitive (level 2) complaints
• Contribute to improving processes and training teams
