Evy is an insurtech of ~70 people spread across France and Warsaw, building products that matter in an industry that's overdue for change. The engineering team is in France, shipping on a solid GCP/GKE stack with Go backends, Next.js frontends, and GitOps-driven deployments.
We're looking for someone to own our platform end-to-end, from day-to-day operations to long-term reliability and security, keeping it healthy, improving it over time, driving the infra roadmap, and ensuring we maintain compliance. This is primarily a platform and reliability role, but it comes with a hands-on backend component: alongside owning the platform, you'll contribute directly to our Go services.
You'll report to the Head of Engineering and work closely with the backend (Go, Cloud SQL, BigQuery) and frontend (Next.js) teams.
Our infrastructure runs on GCP/GKE, provisioned with Terraform, with services packaged as Helm charts, traffic managed through Cloud Service Mesh (GCP managed Istio), and protected by Cloud Armor. Deployments flow through FluxCD (GitOps), with GitHub Actions driving CI and Terraform automation, and observability across Datadog, Sentry, and Robusta.
